Place of event: Sofia Museums
The event , which will take place on May 17 between 6pm and midnight, includes various kinds of exhibitions,as well as music, theatre and dance performances in eight of Sofia's most important fine art venues. The establishments that will take part in the event are the National Military History Museum,the National, Fine Arts Academy's Gallery, the National Art Gallery, Sofia's City Gallery and its Vaska Emanuilova branch.
Visitors and residents of Bulgaria's capital will have the chance to experience jazz performances, witness exhibition openings and young artists' awards ceremonies, take walk among the Foreign Ministry's sculpture park, watch video screenings in the open-air and sip coctails in a gellery. All that - free of charge .
Most of the venues are located within immediate proximity of one another, in the very centre of the city, allowing visitors easy access.
The yearly event, organized with the initiative of the French Ministry of Culture, takes place for the fourth time in Bulgaria.Over the last few years, it has proven to have an almost magical effect on Sofia. The comming of spring, combined with groups of people srolling the streets and coming in and out of well-lit and inviting museums make the night one of the capital's most pleasant ones.
